The groups, presumably, should have been added to the image filesystem, but my guess is that they can be removed because noone lamented issues about so far.
This should be done right after 23.11 release, just to be sure they don’t interfere with release.
Also a peek into udev rules is good to verify if those groups are actually used
In rockchip.conf (https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/c51f412df87e9d074c9fd882511c634719fbfe8e/config/sources/families/rockchip.conf#L95) and rk322x.conf (https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/c51f412df87e9d074c9fd882511c634719fbfe8e/config/sources/families/rk322x.conf#L151-L152) a couple of groups i2c/gpio are added to the building host. In case the groups already exist on the building host, they break compilation.
