None of the builds of Raspberry Pi 5 goes into desktop

replaced our kernel config with bcm2711_defconfig from raspberry pi repository. Still no desktop. Trying with sid as it has 23.3.1 mesa which contains changes for Pi5

Looks like its not just limited to Debian. Happens on ubuntu as well. Desktop works on RPi4 though. May be we are missing some kernel config. Checking on the same.

I suspect this is due to older version of mesa libraries. But let me check. This is one of the reasons why I was limiting pi5 to mantic and trixie releases only
