Discuss if there is a cleaner way to install Chromium

Description

Ubuntu delivers Chromium through snap only. Via apt you get only a base package that knocks snap to install Chromium. If snap is not there it claims that snap is not reachable which I was hoping was more clear that snap is not even installed. Well, I guess Ubuntu did not think about a Ubuntu system that could be delivered without it.

Anyway even though the current implementation works it is not very clean. Also discussed here: https://armbian.atlassian.net/projects/AR/issues/AR-278?filter=allissues

OK. I am just trying to determine which issues to close, which move forward. In case this becomes an issue, its simply reopened.

We don’t install Chromium on Focal anymore. Do we still need this?

I can totally understand Mint's position. Though we are shipping a mostly clean Ubuntu and not Mint and their standard is for f... sake having snap included... Well what would happen if Armbian drops Ubuntu in favor to Linux Mint? grinning face with big eyes
