RockPI WiFi assigned different MAC address on each boot

Description

The built-in WiFi has no dedicated EEPROM to store its unique MAC address

The kernel therefore assigns it a random one on each boot, preventing DHCP/DDNS from reliably associating a name and IP address to the WiFi interface

Environment

RockPI S running WiFi with a DHCP/DDNS server like DNSMASQ
