Pros:

• developers are already on GitHub

• people behave more professional

• hopefully attracting more right people

• easy linking, markdown (easier), GitHub is more adopted to developers reality

Cons:

• further fragmentation if not well communicated

Idea is to start first with moving board bring up forums. We need to invest some to make a FAQ about:

• clearly defining expectations

• rules (link to general code of conduct)

• describe families, what is vendor kernel, where is end user support, where to report issues

• prepare a short how to add a new board

Goal(s):

• open a discussion before opening a PR

• generating opportunity to get support for PR

• make a better link between code and discussion
