Installing Khadas Vim3 image directly to eMMC fails

Description

Vim 3 / A311D … flashing image directly from rescue tool (by placing .img to USB media and select as source) to eMMC fails with “not image for Vim3” or something similar. If we use script provided by Khadas withing this rescue tool, which downloads latest image from Armbian, it does the flashing to eMMC but it does not boot. If we erase SPI boot loader it boots. Looks like something odd is with SPI boot loader. Related problem
