Jira shall help managing this project. In this first jump we use it to organise issues and bugs into releases and deploy release documentation from that. Deeper integration follows in upcoming months.

Rules:

• open issue/story/bug only if you plan to work on it.

• change status between “To-Do, In progress” depending on the actual input

• release notes are generated from Jira (with one click) which means maintainers and commit authors shell keep a copy of things worth mentioned in the release documentation
